Cat Friendly Clinics

All four of our branches are recognised by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) as being "Cat-Friendly". We have recently updated our waiting rooms in Caerphilly, Gabalfa and Pentyrch.

In Gabalfa and Caerphilly, we have made the following improvements:

*Created separate, divided waiting areas for cats and dogs

*Made 'Cat Parking Areas' which allow you to place your cat basket at a height, off floor level, where most cats feel much safer

*Provided blankets sprayed with Pet Remedy (a natural calming and anti-anxiety spray) for you to cover your cat's carrier. This helps make your cat feel much more secure and less anxious during their wait. The blankets are laundered and re-sprayed with Pet Remedy after every visit

In Pentyrch, we are lucky enough to be able to provide a Cat-Only Waiting Room and also a Cat-Only Consultation Room. This minimises your cat's contact with dogs during your visit to this branch.

We will continue to work to improve our feline facilities at all four of our branches.
