New MD...

Congratulations to Mark Evans who has recently been appointed Managing Director of Valley Vets.
Mark joined the Practice in 1996 and became a Director in 2005. Over the last ten years, Mark has split his time between management duties and clinical duties. Mark has led our exotic pet clinic for 19 years and has also been very much involved in animal welfare work with the RSPCA throughout Wales.
Mark's new role means that he will very soon stop seeing patients. Other members of our veterinary team will take charge of Mark's clinical cases, with the exception of his avian and reptile patients who are being re-directed to our colleagues at Origin Vets.
Mark wishes to pass on a huge THANK YOU to all his clients who have supported him, challenged him, made him smile, laugh, cry and even occasionally frown over the past two decades.
Above all, he would like to say THANK YOU to the furry, feathered and scaly patients he has had the pleasure of helping over the years and who have bitten, pecked and scratched him, weed and pooped on him, barked, squeeled, hissed, squawked and yes, even spoken to him, to show their gratitude for his efforts. He will miss you all.
Now he has to try to control his fellow team members which will be a much more challenging task!
