Meet Maddie, a lovely four year old cross breed dog who recently injured her dew claw.

Maddie hurt her front dew claw whilst running in the fields. After returning from her walk she was licking it constantly and wouldn't let her owner look. Our Pentyrch team diagnosed a painfully dislocated, broken claw which needed removing under sedation.

Once removed Maddie had instant relief and was back to her happy, normal self. We also trimmed Maddie’s other claws to minimise the risk of further injury.
