Our Vet's and their pets..

Karen Westcott is one of our vets who works at all four of our branches. Karen has two cats, Molly a 15 year old domestic longhair and Sophie a 6 year old domestic shorthair. Both of Karen’s cat’s are rescues and she tells us all about them below.

Molly came from a rescue centre when I was in University, and Sophie came in with the rest of her siblings one night when I was on-call and was hand reared.

Molly has recurrent cystitis and problems grooming due to a fused vertebrae - not ideal for a long haired cat! Sophie is a good hunter and brings lots of present’s home. Molly loves yoghurt, I often have to hide her medication in soft cheese! Sophie is always about when I make everyone's packed lunch and prefers ham or chicken. They both play together and love water - hence the picture in the shower preferring to drink running water rather than from their dishes!
